He has more than 10 years of experience in peace building and community development interventions in the Great Lakes region. He is a facilitator of training and workshops. He also has expertise in project management, post conflicts interventions and advocacy.
Gimu Ntayoberwa SHYIKIRO
He has experience in health and gender projects, engaging men and boys in gender transformative programs and institutionalization approach. He has an experience of more than 15 years project management and worked with National and International Organizations. His interest is to support peace building and development initiatives.
Beatrice UMUBYEYI (PhD)
Beatrice Samson UMUBYEYI is a Post-doctoral research fellow at the University of KwaZulu-Natal Durban (South Africa), she holds a PhD in Conflict Transformation and Peace Studies, Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Peace Studies programme from KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa). She is a visiting scholar at Universite de l’Afrique Sub-Saharienne in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). She has published numerous articles and book chapters. Her research areas include but not limited to family conflict, Conflict Resolution, Peace Studies, Migration and Regional Integration.
She has experience in procurement and administration. She is a Secretary of GER’s Board of Directors.
Member of Board
He has an experience of more than 30 years in public health projects and has been a lecturer at Universities in Rwanda and DRC in public health department. He has conducted several researches and published different articles related to environmental health. He is member of Board.
He has experience in human rights and international relations. He has worked for several years in International Organizations and is currently a human rights activist and he is engaged in environmental justice. He is a senior advisor.
He has an experience of more than 15 years in capacity building of civil societies in Rwanda and project management. He has also expertise in project management. He is a Board member.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information System Management. He coordinates field work, operations, record keeping, budget elaboration and filing, assists the Executive Director in different activities of the organisation such as programs implementation, networking and communication. He is the operations officer.
She has skills in financial management (accounting). She is committed to support organisation's financial operations. She works as accountant officer.
She has experience in working with vulnerable groups including elders such as women and victims of Gender Based Violence and refugees. She is coordinating GER’s social workers’ activities on the field and has interest in social interventions.
He has experience in environment and sustainable agriculture. He has also experience in working with farmers, communities in environmental conservation projects. He is a field coordinator.
She has experience in research and is an experienced interpreter and worked with religious leaders and community members. She is a public relations officer.

He has experience in planning, project management, proposal writing, developing monitoring and evaluation tools. He is program support officer in monitoring and evaluation.
